NOVA, Bucks County’s comprehensive crime victim services agency, announced that they
received a generous donation from American Heritage Federal Credit Union (www.americanheritagecu.org)
of 20 boxes filled with nonperishable food items and supermarket gift cards.
Throughout the month of December during their 11th annual Spirit of
Giving Food Drive, credit union employees and credit union members
collected 10,000 pounds of
food and raised $20,000 to be donated to various charities and organizations in
the Philadelphia area, one of which was NOVA. These thoughtful contributions provided much-needed support to NOVA’s clients in need during the holiday season.
“The donations provided significant support to many of our clients, easing their financial burdens so they could focus on healing and enjoy a more festive holiday season,” said Angela McGettigan, Senior Director, Operations & Community Engagement, NOVA. “We are deeply grateful for our partnership with American Heritage Federal Credit Union, and look forward to continuing to work together to make a difference in the community.”
“American Heritage Credit Union stands with organizations like NOVA because we believe in people helping people,” stated Mitch
Kay, SVP Business Development, Growth and Revenue, American Heritage Federal
Credit Union. “At the heart of the credit union movement is a commitment to building stronger and more connected communities. At American Heritage we carry that commitment and mindset in everything we do.”
