After over 30 years as an administrator and fundraiser in
the nonprofit sector, I have retired from administration and started
proofreading. I thought I knew what I was doing. But a proofreading
course during the pandemic set me straight.
If you have ever sent an email with typos, or incorrect language,
or nonexistent punctuation, I can help. I have been there and done that. It is
almost impossible to read your own writing and notice all, or even any,
mistakes. We see what we intended to say, even if we did not write what
we meant. I can help to correct the errors and smooth out the wording.
