Four Bucks County
nonprofits are once again coming together to host the 3rd Annual Coldest
Night of the Year (CNOY) walk in Doylestown. This impactful,
family-friendly winter fundraising event will take place on February 22,
2024, supporting critical programs and services for individuals and
families facing homelessness and hunger in Bucks County.
In collaboration
with the Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC), Bucks County
Housing Group (BCHG), Family Service Association of Bucks County (FSA),
and YWCA Bucks County, this annual walk raises much-needed funds to
support community members through the collective efforts of the Serving
Bucks Together (SBT) Center in Warminster.
The walk begins
at the Justice Center in Doylestown, where participants will register, submit
their fundraising totals, and embark on either a 2K or 5K route through
the town. Along the way, participants can enjoy rest stops with warm beverages
to keep spirits high. The evening will conclude with a celebratory meal at the James
Lorah Auditorium, bringing walkers together to recognize their efforts and
achievements.
Virtual
participants will also have the opportunity to design their own routes, walking
solo or with family and friends in their communities. Walkers raising over $150
(or $75 for youth) will receive the iconic CNOY hat as a symbol of their
dedication.
