Humble Beginnings
Wedding dress designer Wtoo by Watters has an interesting story from its humble beginnings. The designer, Vatana Watters began designing one-off dresses for herself, friends and family. She satisfied a need where everyone felt every dress they were finding in stores looked the same.
As founders and owners of Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo, we are fortunate to meet some fascinating and talented designers and learn their stories. A few years ago, we had lunch with a designer in Italy who told us he started out as a photographer. Not sure how you make that leap from photographer to wedding dress designer but his many decades of success and a company that sells wedding dresses all over the world truly proves it all worked!
