The Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, with the mission to honor Oscar Hammerstein II's groundbreaking work as a lyricist, lebrettist, mentor and humanitarian. Our vision is to create a cultural experience that immerses visitors in the life and work of Oscar Hammerstein II. To achieve this vision, we will:
- Establish a museum at Highland Farm, the home where Mr. Hammerstein created some of the most successful musicals ever written;
- Develop a robust theatre education program for all ages that embodies and promotes Mr. Hammerstein's legacy and personal values.
